JONÉ VAN EEDEN

Hi I’m Joné. I am a passionate cyclist from Potchefstroom and currently a learner at Potchefstroom Gimnasium. I started cycling in Grade 7, but only started competing in high school. I started out because my dad and brother were cycling, but it was not long before I loved being out on my bike and was the one asking when our next ride would be. I love the adrenaline rush of a xco race but compete I in marathon races as well.  I do mix it up with road training but my first love is mountain biking.

I am grateful for the talent I received and I’m thankful for the support I receive from my family and friends.  You are only as strong as the support system around you.
