MOUNT KILIMANJARO

I am 38 years old and married to Marle Odendaal Meyer and we have a beautiful baby girl, Kayleigh, who is 8 months old. I grew up between Pietersburg and Welkom but we moved around and I went to school in the Free State and matriculated in Welkom. My family and I live in Queenwood, Pretoria and I work for MaPa Cleaning Technologies in the sales department as a cleaning specialist. I only started cycling late in my life – at the age of 29 – and fell in love with cycling and triathlons. I have participated in many local events and was privileged to climb Kilimanjaro and cycle through Kenya on my mountain bike. I hope to continue cycling for many more years and to inspire people with my story.
