I’m an 18-year-old road and MTB cyclist from Vryheid in KZN. 4 years ago, I got my first mountain bike and I started to do a few small MTB races here and there. In 2018 I started training with my coach Johann Wykerd and from there, things started to get serious!

I finished on the podium of the SA marathon and XCO Champs in 2018 and in November that year I got my first road bike, an aluminum GT 3rd hand road bike! 5 days later I did my first road race and managed to take the overall ladies win! I loved the skinny wheels and so I decided to focus on road racing as well.

So far in 2019, I managed to win the Provincial Junior Road and TT championships and then the Junior National Road and TT Championships. I also finished 3rd lady and 1st Junior overall at the EP Herald classic in Port Elizabeth.

I’m beyond excited for the journey ahead with Head Bikes and Positive Sports Solutions!
